Union County Community Foundation Grants
Who Qualifies for UCCF Grants?
UCCF is a public charity that accepts and invests funds and assets from individuals and companies to help them achieve their charitable and philanthropic objectives for the long-term benefit of our community, state and region. In simpler language, UCCF is the vehicle that links donors with nonprofit organizations - whether educational, cultural or religious - that they care about the most.
The majority of funds at UCCF were created for specific charitable purposes and grant distributions are regularly made from these funds to the organizations specified by the donors. For these funds, there is no open grant application process. UCCF does have one discretionary fund, the Union County Public Trust, from which the foundation’s Board of Directors awards community grants annually.
UCCF accepts online grant applications from Union County, AR non-profits from February 1st through February 16th each year.

Guidelines and Timetable for Grants Awarded from the Union County Public Trust
The Union County Community Foundation makes most of our grants to tax-exempt, private agencies classified as 501 (c)(3) organizations as defined by the Internal Revenue Service. UCCF may also make grants to governmental agencies.
The programs UCCF considers for support are located in Union County, or will directly benefit Union County residents. UCCF looks for creative programs designed to meet community needs, to address public policy priorities, or to test new ideas.
UCCF does not award grants for political purposes. Except in the case of donor advised or designated funds, Union County Community Foundation does not typically award grants to individuals or organizations for religious purposes, for capital outlay or capital campaigns, for endowments or for salaries.
